What is it?
A set of 12 beech wood pieces of 18 mm thickness, combinable with each other to build objects in three dimensions.
Includes model templates to capture the piece in perspective.
It allows building objects from a given pattern and, in the same way, to represent the constructed shape on a flat surface.
Who is it for?
For all those who wish to work on spatial vision through observation and manipulation of cubic pieces and their representation in two dimensions.
It is recommended from the age of 12.
This product responds to a need not covered by the educational community, which does not have elements of this nature to work on spatial vision.
What does it develop?
From the sense of sight, people discover, organise and reconstruct reality.
The process of perception can be described as the process in which stimuli from the environment are selected through the senses; they are then organised through the laws of perceptual organisation of Gestalt psychology, to later make a new interpretation where meaning is given to those stimuli.
Visual acuity or observation capacity is vital for there to be a correct reading of the surrounding stimuli. If we are not able to make a correct reading of these stimuli, there is a misunderstanding of the real world.
The use of a set of three dimensional pieces that can be rotated, touched and relocated in space favours a greater reception of information and, therefore, a greater facility to understand and interpret reality so that we can reinterpret it successfully.
