What is it?
Birch board with the representation of the Solar System, with 9 loose pieces with different diameters and textures to distinguish between them.
It allows children to play with the sizes, textures and inserts and, for the older ones, it helps them to know the characteristics of the Solar System; the elements that compose it and the relationships between them.
Who is it for?
It can be used from the age of three, although it is in the first cycle of Primary Education that children learn the characteristics of the Solar System and will approach literacy as a source of knowledge.
How do you play?
ASSEMBLING THE PUZZLE: insert the 9 tiles in their corresponding holes. Each hole has its own texture, which is the same as the piece with which it is associated, thus working on tactile perception and the “design for all” approach is respected.
LEARNING ABOUT THE SOLAR SYSTEM:
- Recognition of the structure of the solar system: in a schematic way, the children learn the structure of the solar system, the organisation of the planets, they work on literacy with the recognition of the names of the different planets, the role of the orbits, etc.
